About the Call
A Platform for New Voices
Since 2000, JAM’s Call for Music has been at the heart of our mission to commission, perform and promote living composers.
Each year, selected works are premiered to a public audience including media and industry professionals, often leading to future commissions, recordings and publication.

Guidelines
Entry
Free to submit to JAM’s annual Call for Music.
Eligibility
Open to anyone 18+, born, living
or studying in the UK.
Instrumentation
Choir, brass quintet and organ—
any combination permitted.
Duration
Maximum 10 minutes;
shorter fanfares welcome.
Text
Any language; secure copyright permission if required.
Anonymity
Remove your name and title the PDF with the work’s name only.
Submissions
Up to three pieces of differing instrumentation.
Upload
Submit PDFs through JAM's portal.
Deadline
All entries by 14 November 2025, 5pm.
Decision
You will hear from us by mid-January 2026.
