Composer Residency 2024
This booklet accompanies the 2024 Composers' Residency at JAM on the Marsh, 1 to 14 July 2024, in which four composers write short operas on Derek Jarman's life to libretti by Grahame Davies CVO, working partly at Prospect Cottage, Dungeness. Inside are the welcome, the two-week schedule and profiles of composers Toby Anderson, Sam Buttler, Roseanna Dunn and Jago Thornton, tutors including Paul Mealor LVO, Jonathan Dove CBE and Shirley Thompson OBE, Royal College of Music singers and pianist Travis Bloom.
