Romney Marsh Community Hub, then the Marsh Academy Leisure Centre

Guided by renowned local professional photographer Wendy Carrig, fourteen people met weekly through May to photograph marine debris washed up on the seashore at Greatstone.

Using only a camera phone and available light, participants were introduced to the simple photographic processes from initial capture to final exhibition, learning that photography is firstly all about seeing, combined with scale, perspective and shot set up.

Each person went on their own creative journey, flourishing into impressive artists. Each photograph tells a personal story.

This was JAM's second art collaboration with the Romney Marsh Community Hub. The work was shown at the Romney Marsh Community Hub and then transferred to the Marsh Academy Leisure Centre.
