We are recruiting!

JAM / JAM on the Marsh

About Us:

JAM started in 2000 specifically to enable new music in the UK. We have commissioned and performed over eighty new pieces by some of the UK’s most significant composers.  These have had multiple performances across the UK and world-wide. Each year we run a Call for Music inviting emerging composers to submit music for performance with our commissions.

JAM on the Marsh is an 11-day multi-arts festival on Kent’s Romney Marsh in July, started in 2014.  2018 included 7 concerts, 6 exhibitions, 4 poetry recitals, 2 theatre productions and 3 education projects.  Performers / artists included BBC Singers, London Mozart Players, VOCES8, Onyx Brass, Changeling Theatre, Sabotage Theatre, Justin Sutcliffe, Tristan Fewings and many more!  Emerging artists take part through our Bring your Own platform.
