JAM Today for Tomorrow Concert announced

Wednesday 13th September 2005

Nicholas Cleobury will conduct a JAM fundraising concert, celebrating 5 years of the Trust, on 25th November 2005. The concert will take place at St.Bride's Church, Fleet Street. The programme will include Faure's Requiem, Patterson's The Fifth Continent, Bingham's Clouded Heaven, Peat's Winter Landscape and Peters' Lux Aeterna.

Paul Patterson's Fifth Continent was commissioned by JAM for 2005 and given its first performances in London and Edinburgh earlier this year. Both Richard Peat and Nicholas Peters successfully submitted pieces to JAM for 2005.

Judith Bingham's Clouded Heaven represents the future as she has been chosen to headline 2006's programme in a joint commission between JAM and the BBC.

Performers confirmed for this special concert will be familiar to regular JAM concert-goers as they have performed with JAM for many seasons:

Nicholas Cleobury, conductor
Claire Seaton, Andrew Watts, Giles Underwood
The Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge
Onyx Brass
Daniel Cook, organ
