Graham Lynch - Submitted 2005
Graham Lynch was born in London, and studied both at King's College London and with Oliver Knussen. His music has been played and recorded/broadcast throughout many countries and by many different performers, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and Opera North. He also writes tangos for both tango and classical ensembles. Current commissions include a work for violin and harpsichord for the Janus Duo (Germany), a new harpsichord piece for the Paris based player Vivienne Spiteri, and a saxophone quartet for the ensemble of the Greek saxophonist Theodore Kerkezos. He is also working on some arrangements of Piazzolla for the Belcea String Quartet/Bath festival.
