Ivan Moseley - Submitted 2003
Ivan Moseley was a late starter in music, taking up the trumpet when he was fifteen, playing mainly jazz and dance music. Having trained in medicine, he was awarded a scholarship to study composition with Thomas Pitfield at the then Manchester College of Music in 1966, but for various reasons did not take up a musical career. Now retired, he is able to devote more time to composition and has recently returned to the full-time study of music at the Royal Northern College of Music.
