JAM on the Marsh is a multi-arts festival, to date including music, art, photography, theatre, children’s education and poetry. It works as an ‘umbrella organisation’. JAM puts on some of the concerts and events itself, but many are brought by the artists and performers themselves. All events are publicized and supported equally within the festival promotion.
If you would like to Bring Your Own event to JAM on the Marsh – this could be any art form. Firstly you will need to fill in a short application form telling us about you and your event. The deadline for this is Friday 27th January 2017. If your application is successful, you will be invited to be a part of the festival. You will then create your event. Together we will find the perfect venue for it. Being in the festival will ensure that your event is part of JAM on the Marsh’s festival brochure, and involved in all the festival’s marketing, publicity and mailings to JAM’s database and media contacts. We will be available for help and advice leading up to, and during the festival.
You will be responsible for setting up and running your event, including any costs. You will keep all the income from your event. It is YOUR event within the festival.
